Jewellery made by tribal artisan families, spread across different parts of India.
These are made in places such as Bastar (Chhattisgarh), Odisha, Rajasthan and nearby areas.
In these places, jewellery is learnt early and carried on within the family.

Making Process

The jewellery is handmade.
Simple tools and traditional techniques are used throughout the process.
Each piece is worked on separately.

Small differences in shape or surface are common.
This happens because the work is manual.
